All better and off to a party...

This was a busy and interesting week. We started the week with a trip to the doctor's office. Both the boys had a terrible cough and lots of congestion. So off to the doctor's we went. We were given anti-bs for Grant's ear, again, and nothing but advice for Reed. I'm happy to report that they are doing much better now. I'm hoping that the reason we got kick out of the kids club at the gym was due to this illness so keep your fingers crossed. Grant had trouble biting others and pulling hair. So lets hope it was just because he wasn't feeling well. :)

Anyway, since we were inside a lot last week, the boys got really into "cooking" with me. Every time I was cooking they wanted a bowl and measuring spoon to "cook" also. (Reed)

On Saturday after we were almost back to normal, we went to a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese's. Our friends, the Carricks, had a party for their little boy who turned 8. He also happens to be the little guy that I tutor twice a week.

We got to ride some of the rides and play some of the games. I think Jeff and I got more into ticket collecting than the boys did.

He didn't really get it so he would just throw the ball down on the ramp. But at least he would give it a try. :)

My big boys sat at the table with the rest of the party goers. They enjoyed pizza and root beer from a cup!! What's next, driving??!?!?!?!?

So the story behind this video is a little strange. The boys have started repeating a lot. And their favorite thing to repeat is "Yuck". So what happened was Jeff and I told Grant to stop touching the trash can because it was Yuck. Well Reed was licking the floor at the same time and thought we were talking to him. So now he licks the floor to hear us say Yuck and says it himself. This is apparently very very funny. (FYI, Grant's "yuck" sounds like "guck")
