So it's already well into March and you'd think that would mean the end of the SNOW! Well you'd be wrong. We have been having snow storms lately, much to our dismay. We woke up last week the find this.
All over everything. Out of no where. We'd been having nice 50 degree weather and then a freak snow storm.
The really weird thing is that by the afternoon, it was TOTALLY gone. Not even a flake left. WE had another one on Monday night and woke up to the same kind of scene in the backyard. Seriously! When's it going to end?!?!? We're ready to put away our coats and boot and put on our flip flops.
So Jeff and I took the boys to Wal-Mart on Sunday to get a few things. When we only have a few things to pick up we let them walk. We like to tire them our as much as we can. They have gotten into this monkey see monkey do kind of phase.
When one climbs into a tub, the other one climbs in. Now if only one would start using the potty, them maybe the other would. I just don't think I'm that lucky.
Uncle Whitney and Aunt Lacey gave the boys these sweatsuits for Christmas. The boys look so cute in them. The funny part is Reed's obsession with his hood. He has to have the hood on at all times AND his insists on Grant wearing his hood too. He will come up to me and have me put his hood on, then go to Grant and try to put Grant's hood on.
They have recently become very interested in the kitchen table. I think it's because they see Jeff and I sit there and because they know there's good stuff on the table. :) The love to sit in the chairs and just sit. (for now)
We went to neo-natal follow up clinic yesterday. This clinic is for preemies that were considered at risk and spent some time in the NICU. I love it because it's a full range of evaluations for all different doctors. We saw the pediatrician, neurologist, ophthalmologist, psychologist, audiologist, and speech pathologist. It's an intense day that requires me to wrangle them quite a bit. (Grant)
The good news is that we got a clean bill of health from all of them. The boys are just amazing in their eyes (and mine). They are such a blessing to us and we are thankful daily for what they have been able to do given the start they had. After a day like yesterday I am so thankful to God that we have healthy, strong, happy, NORMAL babies. The speech path was so impressed with their 25 word vocabulary and they psychologist couldn't be more impressed with their age appropriate behavior.

The only concern we have is Grant's hearing. One of his ears didn't register well on the hearing screening. We think it's because of fluid in his ear so we're going back to have it double checked in 6 weeks. I'm sure it's fine. But just incase, say a prayer for Grant. :) (Reed above)
Here's a little video of the boys talking some. They only say like 25-30 words and it's really hard to get them to do it on command. I'll keep trying. :)
