What a great week/weekend. We started with a special special treat on Thursday. The boys got a belated birthday present from Aunt Denise, Julia, and the rest of the Broadfoots. MICKEY MOUSE CLUBHOUSE JAMMIES!!! The boys just loved them!
The were so excited about the jammies they tried to put them on while I had my back turned.
Reed is very into doing things "myself". Thanks again guys.
On Friday night we went to a Halloween party hosted by some of our friends. It was really really fun. Jeff and I dressed up as "Emo High Schoolers" (In other words the opposites of us) We won "cutest costume" (for me) and "2nd place best costume" (For Jeff). We had a great time and it was nice that the babies got to wear their costumes more than once.
On Saturday we finally got around to carving our huge pumpkins. (Before shot)
OOOOOOO! Scary Jack-O-Lanterns!! Mine is the one that has the not so even smile. The boys had a great time helping us this year. Reed was grossed out by the "guts" and kept saying "oooo, yuck"
After pumpkin carving it was time to put on our lion and tiger faces and trick or treat. Reed is an EXCELLENT canvas. He holds still and is so good as long as he is given candy when he's done. Grant is another story. No amount of candy can make him hold still. It usually takes two of us to get his tiger on his face.
Mr. Archie got ready too. He tried on his bee costume but it didn't fit too well. He seriously stood in the middle of the kitchen and wouldn't move until we took it off. Too funny!
My little Reed all ready to go as a scary lion!!
My two wild cats!! Grant the Tiger and Reed the Lion.
Our cute little neighbor Ava was Minnie Mouse.
Mr. Archie changed into his construction worker costume instead. Ava's mom Caiti made us some tutus and we went as witches. (cute ones)
The boys were helping Mr. Archie dog get ready for all the trick or treating.
